  • This elephant was my favorite! Our steward even put my sunglasses on him!
  • Normandie Lounge- Many of the ships shows, activities and games were held here.
  • The first was our emergency evacuation/life vest drill. Quick, painless...and mandatory!
  • Here Carnival guests battled each other in a Trivia Challenge game show in the Normandie Lounge.

Tidbits: The inaugural voyage of the Carnival Paradise in 1998 was praised by the American Cancer Society for launching the world’s first smoke-free cruise ship.  Carnival even took into consideration to hire non-smoking workers to build the ship as well as non-smoking crewmembers.  Then on December 2003, news came out that the Paradise was being redeployed to the West Coast as a smoking ship.
