Boat Rentals of America, http://boats4rent.com, is a Duffy boat rental company out of Newport Beach. Straight from their site it says, “Duffy rentals offer a quiet boating experience. Duffy boats are electric boats, easy to drive, and is recommended for boaters of all experience levels. An approximate cruising speed is 5 knots. Batteries hold a minimum charge of six hours. The Duffy is perfect for enjoying the harbor and its many sights or relaxing at the end of a busy day."

"Cruise the harbor in a Duffy with friends on a picnic. A great way to see all the sights. Comfortable seating. Available with surrey top to provide shade, or with full enclosure sides for cooler weather. Includes stereo radio with CD player and dining table. 18' seats up to 8 persons. 20' seats up to 12."

"In and around the harbor you'll see marine mammals, sea birds, fish and a variety of other marine life. Whether you venture into Upper Newport Harbor's bird estuary or cruise toward the sea bouy where sea lions and harbor seals bask in the sun, you'll enjoy many sights the ocean and bay have to offer by boat."

The Cannery crew will await you with your specially prepared package to be picked up at their 225 ft. dock. A quick stop, cast off, and enjoy your savory cruise of Newport Harbor. Boats return to Balboa Boat Rentals. Menu prices include tax. Orders served on a platter with plastic silverware, plates and napkins.”

Homes of the Stars Tours- “Along the 8 islands tour of Newport Harbor and on the waterfront are the homes to many Hollywood stars, past and present. The dock boys will point you in the right direction, share some stories, and get you out on the water where you might just see the stars enjoying their megayachts - or passing by in boat just like you! Ask for a map of the star's homes when you rent a boat in Newport Harbor, or purchase one to take home as a souvenir of your adventure.”

Scavenger Hunt- “The game plan is to seek and find answers to specific clues located in Newport Harbor. The team returning in the least amount of time with the most correct answers WINS! Each boat is a team. The hunt takes approximately two hours to complete but there is no limit to the fun. Costs begin at $250 for an 18’ boat and $300 for the 21’ boat. Scavenger Hunts may be scheduled between 10:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am-12:00pm only.
