My favorite outdoor activities are backpacking, hiking, and walking. I’ll walk anywhere: down the highway, small trails, big trails, or no trail at all. I have backpacked in the Grand Canyon and took a long walk once though Flagstaff on old 66. I did a small bit of the Continental Divide Trail (in the Gila National Forest) just out of High School. I plan on some longer trips when time allows. I like canoe and kayak trips with friends and on my own. Kayaking is still new to me. I started a couple of summers ago and it’s something I see myself doing more of in the future. I also camp as often as time permits (and sometimes when it doesn’t).
